Innies and Outies

Created by Leonard M. Cachola

Innies and Outties features the characters of Otis and Iris, a pair of 8 year-old latchkey kids who are neighbors in the suburbs in the southern US. The title stems from the pair's differences, one being more of an introvert (innie) and the other being more of an extrovert (outtie).

Delusional and ambitious, Otis is an aspiring megalomaniac with a grand plan to take over the world. Unfortunately, he's held back by a plethora of obstacles both real, like his miniscule stature and his lack of thinking things through, and imagined, like the rogues' gallery of monsters that haunt every minute of his day.

Friendly, smart, outgoing, down-to-earth, yet able to put people in their place when she has to, Iris' stubborn adherance to being good extends to her love of family, school, surroundings, and the dumb boy next door. Thanks to Otis' influence, she's not as sugar sweet as she would like to be, which bothers her strong sense of right and wrong, most of which she's picked up from her Gramma.
